Our mission is to transform the spiritual landscape of the western United States — and the world — through an explosion of disciple-makers from the college campus.
Our family is on staff with Student Mobilization (StuMo) at the University of Arizona. StuMo's mission is to reach the lost and build spiritual leaders for Christ from the college campuses of the world. Our focus is the spiritually untouched corners of campus — fraternities, sororities, and athletics — places where the gospel rarely shows up on its own.
We don't just want to establish and equip students in their walk with God. We want to build laborers for the harvest — disciples who make more disciples, the way Jesus described in Matthew 9. A laborer is someone who shares the gospel with the lost and teaches young believers how to be disciple-makers themselves.
What that looks like day-to-day: hitting the gym with guys and talking through Scripture, spending time with the boys at the fraternity house, sharing meals around our table, bringing students over to the house with our family, and trusting God to do what only He can do — multiply the work past us, into the next generation, and out to the nations.
Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest."Matthew 9:37–38, ESV
Stories from campus, prayer requests, and what God's been doing in our family.
Despite growing up in Seattle with no faith background, Charlie was hungry for God. For the last 2 years, we have been meeting in discipleship as he grows in his faith. Now, Charlie spearheads the fraternity Bible study, and is starting to learn what it means to be a spiritual leader.

Here are four students — two who Blake has discipled, two who Hannah has discipled — who are now multiplying into their own friends, fraternity brothers, sorority sisters, and beyond.

As we move into year 7 of campus ministry at UofA, our prayer is to be a world-changing couple by building many campus-changing leaders. Please help us do that, one person at a time.
This is a rotating list of books & podcasts we have learned a lot from, and we hope they can be a great help for you as well in your discipleship and family!
Six places — six rhythms — where we get to see students go from far from God to walking with Him to making disciples themselves. Click any of them to see photos and a story from this year.

None of the stories on this page happen by accident. They follow a pattern — one we've watched play out hundreds of times across our years on campus. We call it the 4 E's. It's how a student moves from never having heard the gospel to being sent out as a laborer themselves.
Build relationships with students and share the gospel. The starting line of everything — the patient, prayerful work of going where students are, befriending them honestly, and putting the gospel in front of them.
Develop students in their walk with God. Help them plug into community while we disciple them in the foundations — Word, prayer, evangelism, fellowship. This is the deep root-system. Without it, the rest doesn't hold.
Train students how to share the gospel, lead Bible studies, and make disciples themselves. They stop being recipients of ministry and start being practitioners — the moment a student becomes a disciple-maker.
Send students into the workforce, into full-time ministry, or overseas — with skills for every aspect of ministry. Tyler in the NFL. Noah in Tokyo. Monet on staff. Madison joining our team. Different vocations, same calling.
